We are pleased to offer patients our IVA-2 comprehensive ADHD evaluation which can be done remotely from the convenience of your home. IVA-2 CPT is a test of visual and auditory attention and impulse control. It is designed primarily to help in the screening, diagnosis, and quantification of the symptoms of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD) for ages 6 to adult. The test has a high sensitivity in the 90s for ADHD and is an excellent tool in clinical diagnostics.
ADHD is a mental health condition that affects your brain’s ability to regulate thoughts, behavior, and impulses. This makes it challenging to solve problems, prioritize actions, accomplish ambitions, and understand others’ behaviors.
Although ADHD is a common neurodevelopmental disorder in children, a provider may diagnose you with ADHD in adulthood. Less than 20% of adults with ADHD are aware they have it.

ADHD treatment can be helpful if you or your loved one struggles with:
Symptoms of ADHD can change with age and lead to depression and anxiety if left untreated.
Optimus Health and Wellness frequently cares for patients with ADHD and is confident that a customized treatment plan can improve your daily life.
Your provider allows ample time for a thorough initial assessment and listens to your concerns. They then may diagnose you with predominantly hyperactive/impulsive, predominantly inattentive, or combined presentation ADHD.
Stimulants like Adderall XR®, Concerta®, Ritalin®, and Vyvanse® improve ADHD symptoms by increasing brain chemicals like dopamine and norepinephrine.
Nonstimulant medications like Qelbree® and Strattera® don’t have methylphenidate or amphetamine and are less addictive options. Your provider may prescribe these if you have adverse side effects, like appetite or sleep loss, with a stimulant.
Antidepressants like selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) may also help improve ADHD symptoms.
During talk therapy, like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), your provider helps you or your adolescent pinpoint ADHD triggers and develop healthy behavior and thought patterns. They also equip you with tools to handle emotions and improve organization and communication.
You may also benefit from recommended lifestyle changes like a sleeping routine, improved nutrition and activity levels, or support groups.
Your provider helps your family develop tools to improve your adolescent’s behavior. This may include reward charts, social activities, and ways to support or praise them when they behave well.
